| Description: | Originally established as Byron Photo Magic in 1988 as the first One Hour Photo Lab in Byron Bay, (Australia's most easterly point) under the banner of a Fuji Image Plaza since that time the lab has grown to its current location and now under the banner of a FujiFilm Digital Imaging and an alliance member of the Camera House group, the largest photographic group in Australia, in the Plaza Shopping Centre in a shop covering over 90 square metres in size. The store was extensively refitted less than 4years ago with the latest retail features as part of the Camera House group digital model incorporating solutions zones, improved floor plan layout and involving all products digital. A major part of this upgrade included the installation of the latest Fuji Frontier 340 Digital Photo Lab offering the highest quality Digital Photos thru 6 Fuji DPC Kiosks, along with conventional 1 Hour Photos, Reprints, Enlargements, Copy Prints , Film and Digital to CD all in store .Quality control being a major part of any successful photo lab, the store boasts Fuji Print Care Awards for many years. Our current staff involves the owner/manger, one permanent part time and one casual employees with the majority having been with the business for over 3 years. The business trades 6 days a week and has been at the current location in the South Plaza (on the main road) located next to Woolworths for over 12years. The only direct competition being one Kodak Express Lab located several blocks to the north. Retail area covers such products as a large range of Digital Still Cameras covering such brands as Fujifilm, Canon, Sony, Nikon, Pentax, Ricoh, Panasonic and Olympus. As well as Digital SLR?s and Digital Video Cameras and accessories, Memory Cards from Sandisk, Kingston & Fuji as well film stock from Fuji. A large range of Frames & Albums from such suppliers as Randolf covering all shapes & sizes. Photo accessories such Camera Bags by Lowepro & Tasco, Tripods from Manrotto, Giotto & Velbon as well as basic camera accessories, complete our range to date. The establishment of an Internet Centre within the store some ten years ago has resulted in the expansion of a network reaching 8 Pentium/LCD Screen computers online to the public.
